Slater Consulting was founded in August 1990 by Kenneth J. Slater, and incorporated as Slater Energy Consultants, Inc., a Georgia company, in April 1992. The firm is an engineering-economic and management consultancy with particular expertise in energy and public utility matters. Slater Consulting is a distributed company - each of the eight consultants that form the company works from a home office, connected via email, fax and voice communications.
